We are going to blow our whistles at the First Thursday Art Opening @ The Lizard Lounge – February 4th, 2010 to benefit Falling Whistles. The Lizard Lounge (Pearl District -PDX) is a clothing store/art gallery and not really a lounge in the usual way but they will have beer courtesy of Widmir Brothers. The event goes from 7pm to 10pm and we will be playing 2 sets which almost never happens.
Falling Whistles is a campaign for Peace in Congo. They work to rehabilitate and advocate the children living within our world’s largest war.
Our mini tour in March to and from SXSW is starting to shape up. We should have some dates shortly.
We have a fun show coming up with our friends THE STARRY SAINTS who just opened for THE KILLERS here in Portland not long ago. They will probably be expecting peeled grapes and steamy towels in the green room. This show will be January 28th at one of our very favorite places to play anywhere… The Doug Fir!
